First released in 1972, the BMW 5 Series is one of BMW’s longest standing continuing Series’. Since its introduction into the market, the 5 Series brand has received many awards, including Best New Luxury Car in 2006, and was featured in Car and Driver magazine’s Annual 10 Best List from 1997 to 2002. Today the 5 Series is the second best-selling series made by BMW after 3 Series.
