First produced in 1998 in Korea, and originally marketed prominently by the name Daewoo Matiz, this is a five-door front-engine front-wheel drive small city car. It is nowadays on its fourth generation.
It was originally launched with just a 0.8-litre straight-three engine. It developed a maximum power of 51 hp, and it was later updated with 1.0L and 1.2L models through its successive generations. With acceptable yet not astounding security ratings according to the European Safety Standards, this is a safe car to drive in crowded cities. With a poorly equipped and manufactured interior, its low volume and poor passenger space make it only ideal for short group-drives and more prone to be sought out by singles or couples looking for a daily-driver for moderate distances.
