First produced in 2012 in both Brazil and Indonesia, the Chevrolet Spin is a five-door mini MPV. The Indonesian factory closed in 2015.
In Brazil, the Spin has replaced the Meriva as GM do Brasil phases out the badge engineering of Opels as Chevrolets and vice versa. The LTZ trim offers seven seats, with the possibility of taking the last row off to gain some significant cargo volume, which is pretty limited otherwise. Powered by a 1.8L engine running on a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic variant, this is a fairly easy-to-drive multipurpose van. The van runs smoothly and is as versatile as it is comfortable for either daily basis driving or family trips. This would make the perfect addition to your routine if you have a big family.
