Produced since 1999 as the Blazer Trim, the Chevrolet Trailblazer is a mid-size five-door sport utility vehicle that is still manufactured in Asia. Although it was discontinued in North America in 2008, it is still available for the Brazilian market.
Available in three different engine variants ranging between a 4.2 L I6 and a 6.0 L V8, all of them running on automatic four-speed transmissions, this is a fairly comfortable vehicle, with spacious interiors and a pretty versatile performance both on and off-road. It topped over 280,000 units sold in the American market in 2004 alone, with a total of over 1.6 million units sold between 2001 and 2009. This vehicle is capable of accommodating five passengers while maintaining its acceptable all-around performance. It is highly rated when it comes to safety qualifications. It is the perfect addition for any family looking for a daily-driver able to become a traveler from time to time.
