Introduced in 1987, the Dodge Dynasty was built alongside the Chrysler New Yorker at Chrysler’s factory in Belvidere. Although similar to the Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue and the Chrysler Imperial, this front-wheel mid-size sedan has an attractive boxiness to it.
Produced from 1987 to 1993, this beauty didn’t go through many changes in its exterior. Its basic design stayed pretty much the same throughout its whole lifespan, with only minor changes to adjust the aerodynamics. However, it went from 2.5 L inline-4 Chrysler engine to a 3 or 4-speed automatic. This car is an elegant beast among American manufactured four-wheelers, although it is not the most fuel efficient vehicle around, with about 4.5gals/100miles.
