When the Ferrari 550 was unveiled to the public in 1996, it was marketed as the next-level grand tourer class sports car made by Ferrari. It was built with a stellar V12 engine. The 550 was offered in the Berlinetta and roadster body types (named Maranello and Barchetta). Only 448 vehicles of the limited edition Pininfarina roadster were made.
The Ferrari F550 is a 5.5 L V12 powered sports car offered in a 6-speed manual transmission frame. The 550 has a maximum seating size of 4 people. The 550 also produced up to 478 HP and had a top speed of 199 mph. Later models had the Top speed reduced to 186 mph, but the acceleration remained constant at 4.2 seconds from 0-60 mph. This vehicle is a truly a turn-of-the-century take on a red stallion beauty. For those that love early 2000s Ferrari style, make sure to look out for this supercar.
