Fiat Seicento for Sale - Buy Used & Salvage Fiat
Introduced in 1997 as a replacement for the Cinquecento model, the Fiat Seicento did not differ much from its predecessor. It retained the same engines, chassis and general dimensions, although it did gain a minor 9 cm in length. This three-door hatchback presents itself as a front-engine front-wheel drive vehicle able to accommodate two passengers comfortably and other two at the risk of comfort for the driver and companion seats. The Seicento was available in two engines: the old 899 cc 39 hp engine used in early base S and SX models, and the 1108 cc FIRE 54 hp used in the Sporting version since launch. Both used single point injection. The latter was fitted universally with multi point fuel injection from 2001, replacing the old 899 cc unit due to the tightening emission regulations. There was also a version with an electric engine delivering 41 hp.
