Built only between 2013 and 2014, the Veneno is a limited production sports car based on the Lamborghini Aventador, and designed to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.
When introduced, it had a price of US$4,500,000, which makes it the one of the most expensive production cars in the world. The engine is a development of the Aventador 6.5 L V12 and produces 740 bhp. It delivers a top speed of 221 mph and a 0–60 mph acceleration time of 2.8 seconds. Only five units of this vehicle were manufactured, and only three of them were actually sold to customers while the other two remained in the factory for testing.
