Top 5 Trucks With Highest Resale Value in 2021

By Daisy Emah-Emah Updated: 10/28/2021 Posted: 09/30/2021

Everyone knows that once a brand new vehicle is driven out of a dealership, the value starts to depreciate. So if you are one to trade in or change your old car after a year or so, be sure to go for vehicles whose value doesn’t depreciate fast, are in high demand in the used car market, and would give you top dollar value if you opt for a trade-in.

According to Kelly Blue Book,  an average 2021 vehicle will lose about 60% of its value over the period of five years. The depreciation effect amongst vehicles is however less pronounced on trucks.

In the automotive industry, the resale value of trucks is amongst the highest- depending on the mileage and condition of the truck though.

In recent years, trucks have become really expensive, which is why resale value is important – there is more money at stake! The price of trucks is on the rise thanks to the high demand and increasing premium features.
