Let us take a look at the new add-ons in the Corolla Cross Hybrid model. The hybrid model is available in five different grades and they all have their uniqueness. They will come in three new grades: S, SE, and XSE, as well as the familiar LE and XLE grades.

Performance
The new Corolla Cross Hybrid is an AWD designed with power and efficiency as its core. It comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with three electric motors, that produce 194 horsepower and increased fuel efficiency. The hybrid’s hp has improved by 25hp from its previous model with a fuel economy of 37mpg combined.
The increased horsepower and fuel efficiency make this SUV offer a better driving experience and quicker speed than the non-hybrid Corolla. You are sure of an enhanced driving experience with fewer stops.
Interior
The Corolla Cross has a spacious interior and offers many of the same features as the sedan model. Cross comes with a standard 8.0-inches touchscreen with Apple Carplay. It also has Android Auto Connectivity, a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot for up to five devices, USB-C ports, and many other functions to offer entertainment during your ride.
Cross’s cabin size gives a good amount of legroom but with slightly less cargo space behind the second row. It is also fitted with a moonroof, either as a single or dual-zone automatic climate control. The new Corolla Cross also has standard heating and air conditioning vents for rear-seat passengers.
Exterior
The 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid SE and XSE trims will come in an all-new color of four two-toned combinations. They are
- Sonic Silver/ Black Roof,
- Barcelona Red/ Black Roof,
- Blue Crush Metallic/ Black Roof, and
- Acidic Blast/ Black Roof.
The hybrid will be available in Wind Chill Pearl with an additional $425 extra-color cost, Sonic Silver Metallic, and Jet Black Mica. It will also be available in Barcelona Red Metallic, Cypress, and Blue Crush Metallic.
Safety
Corolla Cross Hybrid comes with the standard Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite of active safety systems. It comes with a Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and lane departure warning.
Other features include front automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high beams, with rear cross-traffic. Coss is also fitted with nine airbags as standard.
Price
The starting price for the Corolla Cross Hybrid is not yet confirmed. But what we are certain of is that it will cost more than the 2022 model. As of now the starting price for the 2022 Corolla Cross ranges from $22,445 MSRP for the L trim up to $26,575 MSRP for the XLE trim. It is, however, speculated to cost around $2000-$3000 more than the gas-powered model. But they are only speculations until Toyota releases an official statement.
Key Competition
The Corolla Cross Hybrid 2023 has got some competition already. We see the SUV competing with Subaru Crosstrek, Honda HR-V, Kia Seltos, and Nissan Kicks.
