If you looked for the most expensive Lexus car ever, it would hands down be the sports coupe, the Lexus LFA. This model was discontinued in 2012 after only 500 models were made. Nowadays, the LFA can fetch anywhere from $320,000 to $735,000.
It took Lexus 10 years to develop the car and it was really worth the wait. It had a V10 engine turning out 552 horsepower, a chassis and body made of carbon fiber. The digital dash was the only option because the analog one couldn’t keep up with the way the engine revved.
But looking at the new models of the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota, the most expensive one is the Lexus LC 500h with MSRP starting at $96,710 for the 2019 model year. This is a luxury sports coupe hybrid featuring Lexus multistage hybrid drive turning out 471hp and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
If you are in the used car market, the budget options are endless, but the prices certainly depend on the age and the condition of the vehicle. You could find a Lexus auctioned for $375 (starting bid) up to a 2018 LC 500h starting at $70,000.
